Couples earning under $150,000 annually and single earners earning under $75,000 annually will receive $350 for each person and an extra $350 if they have children.
The ‘Make Work Pay’ initiative, started by President Obama, provides $250 for taxpayers with children and an additional $250 for taxpayers with dependents with incomes between $75,000 and $125,000.
Families with children in this bracket may receive up to $600 if their earnings range between $250,000 and $500,000.
Individuals earning $125,000 to $250,000 and couples earning $250,000 to $500,000 annually are eligible for $200.
Delaware
Delaware residents received a $300 rebate as part of the Delaware Relief Rebate Program when Gov. John Carney signed the program into law in April.
Even if you filed jointly, you should have received a payment in May. It is now being sent to individuals.
Florida
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis says that nearly 60,000 families have received one-time payments of $450 per child ‘to offset the costs of rising inflation.’
Families must receive Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (also known as welfare), be foster parents or relatives or non-relatives caregivers, or participate in the Guardianship Assistance Program in order to receive the $450 check.
The Florida Department of Children and Families said that checks should have been delivered in time for the state’s ‘back to school’ sales tax holiday, which ran from July 25 to August 7.
You were not required to apply for it.
Georgia
Taxpayers may have gotten a rebate of up to $500 by filing a 2020 or 2021 state tax return by the end of March.
Single residents received $250 on May 31, head of household taxpayers received $375, and married couples filing jointly received $500.
Rebates were given based on a person’s income tax liability (or child support, debt, etc.). Those who paid little or no tax or lived in the state part of the year might have received a smaller rebate.
Rebates were distributed to most taxpayers who filed their 2020 state return by April 18, according to the department’s website.
Hawaii
According to Gov. David Ige, tax rebates should have been deposited directly into taxpayers’ bank accounts on September 9. Physical checks will be distributed later in October, he said.
According to Ige, the arrival of the stock is dependent on the arrival of the stock. Because of this, those who received their initial tax refunds in check form or filed after July 31 will receive their refund subsequently.
Those who earned less than $100,000 in 2021, or $200,000 if married, are eligible for a $300 rebate this year. According to Ige, direct deposits should have been made on September 9. Those who earn more than $100,000 or couples who earn more than $200,000 will receive a one-time $100 payment.

In addition to suspending the state’s sales tax on groceries from July 1, 2022, to June 30, 2023, and expanding the earned income credit from 18% to 20% of the federal credit, Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker’s Family Relief Plan contains several tax holidays and rebates.
Indiana
Indiana taxpayers are eligible for $125 rebates thanks to the state’s automatic taxpayer refund law. Due to a delay in paper supply, checks were not sent to almost 2 million taxpayers because they did not provide banking information in July. Direct deposits have been distributed since May.
$200 more was added to each refund check as a result of the Indiana Legislature’s decision to do so. Beginning in early October, all 1.7 million refunds will be printed at the same time, merging individual and joint refunds into one document.
Those who haven’t received their rebate by November 1 should contact the Indiana State Department of Revenue.
Maine
Couples who file their 2021 Maine state tax returns and have an adjusted gross income of less than $100,000 are eligible for a $1,700 direct relief refund this year.

Massachusetts
Because of the law, a 13% state income tax credit will be applied to all Massachusetts taxpayers as a refund on their 2020 state income tax returns.
The credit will be issued only after the 2021 tax year is over. Furthermore, refunds may be reduced by unpaid tax obligations, child support payments, and other debts.
An 800-number is also available for answering frequently asked questions and providing an estimate of refunds.

According to the New York State Department of Taxation and Finance website, all individuals who are eligible should have received a payment by the end of June.
However, you can find out whether you are eligible by visiting the Department of Taxation and Finance website. If you received a STAR credit or exemption during the fiscal year 2023, you will receive a check in late August.
Those who are ineligible for the STAR exemption but believe they are may file an application for it. (The Department of Finance will send a letter to those who are eligible but have incomplete income information.)

By visiting the MyPath website or filing a paper application by December 31, 2022, eligible residents should receive payments directly deposited or mailed to them.
The Department of Revenue says the standard rebate is $650, but additional rebates for eligible homeowners can bring the total to $975.
(The department will automatically determine rebates for eligible individuals.) You can find out if you qualify and what you will receive using the Where’s My Rebate? tool.
You can find out if your rebate has been processed by entering your Social Security number, birth date, and the year you are seeking a rebate.
Virginia
Virginians will be mailed a printed check or direct deposit for a one-time $250 or $500 rebate by mid-October unless they filed jointly.
You can find out if you are eligible for the rebate payments on the Virginia Department of Taxation’s website. According to the website, not everyone will qualify for the rebate.
A “soft launch” of rebate payments began September 16, according to Virginia Department of Taxation Commissioner Craig Burns.
Burns assured the press that everything would be fine as long as a few thousand direct deposits and checks were processed before the system went live.
In addition, rebates for taxpayers who filed their state returns by September 5 are scheduled to be distributed starting September 19, with 250,000 being sent out each day starting then.
More than 1.3 million rebates will be processed through direct deposit, and 1.9 million will be issued as paper checks.
If a taxpayer did not include banking information on their return, or if their direct deposit was declined and an outstanding debt resulted in a rebate being offset, the Virginia Department of Taxation will send them a physical check.
By October 11, the agency expects to have distributed 2.9 million rebates, with the remaining rebates being issued throughout the rest of the year for returns filed by November 1.
Those who filed by July 1 should receive their rebates by October 31.
